FIELDS OF WORK
FIELDS OF WORK
Dr. Shriner is a true advocate for her patients and never gives up until a solution is found. I have never had a doctor so dedicated in diagnosing the issue, how best to address it - up to and including speaking/working with other doctors and never wavering in her determination to find the best treatment plan for her patients. Dr. Shriner, in addition to treating all of her patients with this level of dedication is able to find time to continue her education in order to keep up with the latest in treatment options.
I came to Dr. Shriner with more than one autoimmune disease that causes chronic pain. I was suffering from multiple types of pain but was also frustrated with other doctors and in need of one that would listen to my concerns before making decisions about treatment. Over the years, Dr. Shriner has always made me feel well-heard and has spent more than her fair share of time with me and on my case. She is indeed a unique individual who is both brilliant and has the best bedside manner! I am elated that Dr. Shriner has expanded her practice and modalities used for patient care. The additional services will help me keep moving forward in spite of my disease progression. I cannot thank her or recommend her enough to anyone who is looking for a doctor who listens and works to find personalized solutions to meet your needs.
I am an Octogenarian. I love to run Marathons. My injured hamstring partially and incorrectly healed. I walked with pain. Running was not possible. Dr. Sandra Shriner examined the hamstring base with Ultrasound and observed the torn areas of the hamstring. She informed me of the healing benefits of injecting Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) from my own blood in the affected area to speed up the healing process. I agreed to the treatment. Within 6 weeks after the PRP treatment, I walked painlessly and I ran nearly a total of 200 miles. I am a true believer in Dr. Shriner and her skills to administer the PRP treatment. There is no reason for anyone to endure pain in knees, hips, hamstrings, and other tendons in the anatomy. I heartily recommend a visit with Dr. Shriner to help manage anyone's pain.
The staff are friendly, and Dr Shriner is very knowledgeable and conscientious. I highly recommend her.
